Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals spent the last two weeks defeating teams on the road to improve their record to 6-8 for the season. They are back at Paycor Stadium for the Week 16 fixture against the Cleveland Browns.
Following a three-game losing streak, the Browns benched their quarterback, Jameis Winston. Since Winston took over for Cleveland, he posted the 23rd-best PFF grade of 71.6 but also led the league in turnovers with 18 and 12 interceptions. Dorian Thompson-Robinson is set to start for the Browns during the Sunday noon game.
As for the Bengals, they defeated the Cowboys 27-20 and then the Titans 37-27 to keep their playoff dreams intact. In those games, Burrow threw for a combined 630+ yards, 6 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions with a quarterback rating of 100+. Wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase caught 23 passes for over 230 yards and 1 touchdown.
The Bengals and the Browns met earlier in the season during week 7. Thompson-Robinson played in the game and threw 2 interceptions from 11 completions. Burrow had 15 completions for 181 yards and 2 touchdowns. Zac Taylor’s side has a great opportunity to do the double over their AFC North opponents.

Why the Cleveland Browns can win?
The Cleveland Browns are 3-11 and have changed their quarterback three times. Jameis Winston fell out of favor, despite providing a few memorable moments. DTR will start the game, which will be only his fourth appearance of the season.
Jerry Jeudy leads the receivers with 1,052 receiving yards and four touchdowns on 70 receptions. Nick Chubb looked great in patches, but he picked up an injury and is out for the rest of the season. Jerome Ford will be the starting running back for the Browns. Ford rushed 87 times for 451 yards and scored two touchdowns.
The Browns offense must put up a score against one of the league’s worst defenses. If they managed to keep Burrow quiet and score some valuable touchdowns, then perhaps they could beat the spread.
Why the Cincinnati Bengals can win?
The Bengals offense is the complete opposite of its defense. They average 362.5 yards per game, which is 10th in the NFL, and have the duo of Burrow and Chase to thank. Burrow has 3,977 passing yards, 36 touchdowns, and eight interceptions, with a 68.5% completion percentage, while Chase leads the league with 1,413 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns from 102 receptions.
Running back Chase Brown, who took over from Joe Mixon, has 191 carries for 832 rushing yards and seven touchdowns. One negative news is that the Bengals will not have the services of Tee Higgins, who picked up an injury in week 15.
