The age-old rivalry between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Dallas Cowboys returns to the NFL after a three-year gap. Dak Prescott will play the Steelers for only the second time in his career.

Tomlin’s Steelers are coming off their first loss against the Indianapolis Colts after winning three straight games to start the 2024 season. The Colts had veteran Joe Flacco deputizing for the injured Anthony Richardson and threw a couple of touchdowns to secure a win.
Steelers quarterback Justin Fields has managed to keep hold of his position so far and will start against the Cowboys despite the loss.
As for the Cowboys, they ended a two-game losing streak by defeating divisional rivals, the New York Giants, on prime time. Head coach Mike McCarthy, a Pittsburgh native, is looking forward to facing his hometown team.

Why can the Pittsburgh Steelers win?
The 2024 Steelers are the classic example of a Tomlin squad. They rank right in the middle and yet keep winning games with relative ease. At the center of their attack is Justin Fields, who has 830 passing yards (70.6% completion rate), three touchdowns, one interception, and is averaging 207.5 yards per game and 7.6 per attempt.
Running back Najee Harris has 228 total rushing yards (3.4 yards per carry), while wide receiver George Pickens has 20 receptions for 284 yards on 29 targets. Neither one of them has scored a touchdown yet.
Pass rusher TJ Watt has 12 tackles and 3 sacks this season. The Steelers will be without Alex Highsmith.
Why can the Dallas Cowboys win?
