Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys are aiming to put an end to their two-game losing streak when they travel to Mercedes-Benz Stadium on November 3 to play the Atlanta Falcons. The Cowboys currently sit 3-4 after losing to the San Francisco 49ers, while the Falcons defeated divisional rivals the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and lead the NFC South with a 5-3 record.
This will be the two sides’ first fixture after a three-year gap. Prescott led the Cowboys to a 31-24 victory in their last game. The Cowboys have won the previous three meetings against the Falcons, and Prescott is 3-1 in his NFL career against the Atlanta-based team. His only defeat came back in 2017.
Of course, both teams are very different right now. Falcons in particular witnessed a massive overhaul in the offseason. They signed veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins and built the offense around him. Head coach Raheem Morris struck gold with the pro bowler.
Yet Cousins doesn’t boast a great record against the Cowboys. He has the worst record against the Cowboys, 1-8, of which six came during his Washington days and two during his stint in Minnesota. Former Vikings and current Cowboys DC Mike Zimmer worked with Cousins for a long time, so he should know a thing or two about containing him.

Why the Atlanta Falcons can win?
The Falcons are favorites to win because they are one of the in-form teams in the NFL at the moment. Kirk Cousins can do no wrong, and the offense gets better after each game. Morris’ side is currently the seventh-best offense, averaging 371.6 yards with 21 scores.
Surprisingly, they are more dominant through the air with 250.9 yards per game for 14 touchdowns, while the 16th best on the ground with 120.8 yards an average game.
Why the Dallas Cowboys can win?
The Cowboys are also a pass-heavy offense, suited for Prescott to find CeeDee Lamb and Jalen Tolbert. They are third-best in the league through the air, averaging 256.0 yards. Despite the presence of Ezekiel Elliott and Dalvin Cook, the Cowboys run game has been atrocious this season.
They are dead last with just 74.1 yards per game and 3 scores. If Prescott can limit the interceptions, then they have a good shot at beating the Falcons.
