The Buffalo Bills vs. Miami Dolphins battle in the NFL Week 9 game will be the second time this season the two sides clash. The last time these two teams met, Josh Allen and his teammates’ resounding win was overshadowed by what happened with Tua Tagovailoa.
His concussion set the NFL world on fire as discussions raged on the impact on his overall long-term health. While some wanted him to retire, others asked him to take time off from the game and have a discussion with doctors and his family. He did all that and decided to return after being placed on IR.
Last week was his first game back and lost a close game as the Miami Dolphins went back to scoring a decent number of points. On the other hand, it was also new wide Buffalo Bills receiver Amari Cooper‘s first week.
The result was that the already good team started to look scary. The Bills vs. Dolphins matchup in NFL Week 9 sets up to be a firecracker. On one side the Dolphins would want to return to their winning ways, whereas the Bills want to continue theirs. To tune in, check out the details below.

Why can the Miami Dolphins win?
The desire to win now that Tua Tagovailoa is back. Prior to his return, the Miami Dolphins averaged 10 points in four games. Last week against the Cardinals, they scored 27 and lost due to a dying second field goal. That should give them the impetus that they can win.
Odell Beckham Jr. would like to open his 2024 season with a catch as would his receiving partner Tyreek Hill who wants to blaze Highmark Stadium. The defense is also at full strength and already has an idea of how the young Bills receivers play.
Add to that if Tagovailoa can go ballistic, then the Bills defense will find it difficult. The Dolphins hope to win this NFL Week 9 clash to turn their season around.
Why can the Buffalo Bills win?
The previous win for the Buffalo Bills came with new addition Amari Cooper just finding his way into the offense. But his experience showed when a simple hand signal from rookie Keon Coleman was enough to net him his first touchdown. What it does to the team, especially the young receiving group is it lifts the level of the team as a whole.
Their defense is playing beyond what anyone believed they could do. Now when an elite veteran, more importantly, one who goes about his business without much fanfare, joins, it can really help the team stay dialed in.
The Buffalo Bills will also draw confidence from the fact that they won the last duel. This time, they are better as a team, so their chances are even better in NFL Week 9.
