Joe Judge has been subjected to a lot of trolling on the internet. The man made an awful call during the season finale against the Washington Football team which made the season even worse for the Giants. With just 4 wins, 13 defeats, and a whopping 6 game-losing streak, the Giants were well and truly outplayed throughout the season.

A lot also depends on how a team ends a season. If a team has started poorly but ends the season well, there are still chances that the franchise might keep their trust in the recruited personnel. However, in Giants’ case, the ending was even worse than the beginning and hence, HC Joe Judge was fired.

After the game against WFT, Judge was enquired about the decision to run two straight QB sneaks, and much to everyone’s surprise, Joe ended up defending his decision, “We were going to give ourselves room for the punt. We did that. We gave ourselves room for the punt, we protected it, we covered it well. We played the field position situation how I wanted to play. We held them on the next drive,” he had said.

As expected, Joe was brutally trolled by netizens and even other NFL stars. Aaron Rodgers appeared on the Pat McAfee Show and made fun of Joe Judge’s call. “You know what would make me lose my mind, third-and-9 on the -5, let’s go in goal-line personnel and run a quarterback sneak,” Aaron had said.

Jumping into the Joe Judge and Giants trolling fest, the ever so quirky and cheeky brand Wendy’s also came up with a Tweet. The chain announced free medium fries with purchase from its official app on National Roast Day. Replying to the Tweet, NFL writer Will Brinson asked, “Free medium fries? What are you, the New York Giants?“

Replying to this, the brand responded, “The difference is you don’t have to watch a QB Sneak on 3rd and 9 while enjoying our tweets.”
