Colin Cowherd and Matthew Stafford

The Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals will go head to head in the Superbowl on Sunday for a grand festival. The Superbowl is going to be played on February 13th at the Los Angeles Rams stadium.

One of the players who will definitely be in focus will be Matthew Stafford of the Los Angeles Rams who will hold the keys to success for the Rana.

Colin Cowherd says Aaron Rodgers would be nowhere near Matthew Stafford if he inherited the Detroits

NFL analyst Colin Cowherd has put forward his comparison between Matthew Stafford and Aaron Rodgers. According to Cowherd, Matthew Stafford started off much better than Aaron Rodgers. Cowherd said that Stafford was the number one player while in high school in America.

“I have a soft spot for Matthew Stafford and I’m also over Aaron Rodgers whining about how bad Green Bay is. In high school Matt Stafford was much better than Aaron Rodgers, Aaron had to go to a junior college. Matt was the number one high school football player in America. In college, Matt Stafford was better. Stafford was in the NFL Draft viewed as a better player.”

Speaking on his show called ‘The Herd’, Cowherd absolutely battered Aaron Rodgers and called him ‘high maintenance’ and ‘picky’. He believes that if Aaron Rodgers had to sustain the confusion and imbalance at Detroit, he would be nowhere near Stafford.

Matthew Stafford and Rodgers share a nice moment

“Even early in their NFL careers, Matt Stafford in year 3 took one of the worst rosters in the league to the playoffs in Detroit. Aaron couldn’t get off the bench until year 4, and when he did he inherited a great Packers team and went 6-10. High school, college, draft, early career, Stafford by a mile. Eventually, Detroit’s embarrassing ownership, horrible executives, crappy coaches, and ridiculous drafting is something not even Matt Stafford could overcome. Meanwhile, Aaron had a coach, had skilled people, had no chaos, had continuity, had a great fan base, was flourishing, and deserves love.

“Although, what if low maintenance Matt Stafford had inherited Green Bay? Think his playoff record would be 11-10? What if prickly, high-maintenance Rodgers inherited the constant 24/7 firehose of disfunction in Detroit?” finished off Colin Cowherd.
