The 2023 NFL draft is less than a week away. Players from all over the country looking to make their mark in professional football will fly to Kansas City, where the draft is set to take place from April 27 to April 29.
One of the top prospects of this year’s draft is running back Bijan Robinson. He is touted to be the best running back in his draft class and is projected to be the first one taken off the board.
Bijan Robinson was born on January 30, 2002, in Tucson, Arizona. He has been a dominant player on the gridiron since his high school days at Salpointe Catholic High School.

Bijan Robinson had an amazing high school career where he amassed 7,036 yards and 114 touchdowns and set the state record in Arizona. Robinson also won the Arizona Gatorade Football Player of the Year as a senior. He was a five-star recruit and had multiple offers from all the major football programs in the country. He eventually committed to the University of Texas for college.

Bijan Robinson’s parents are LaMore and Lamont Sauls. He completed his schooling at Salpointe Catholic High School. As a senior, he rushed for 2,235 yards and 38 touchdowns on 126 carries and was selected to play in the 2020 All-American Bowl. Robinson was an extremely talented player and no wonder he was a five-star recruit out of high school. He is currently a part of the University of Texas and a proud Longhorn. He is currently majoring in Communication and Leadership and, as per reports, he wishes to pursue a career in teaching after achieving greatness in the NFL.

Bijan Robinson was put on the field right from his freshman year. He rushed for 703 yards on 86 carries for 4 touchdowns. He was also awarded the 2020 Alamo Bowl MVP for his exceptional performance in the game where he rushed for 183 yards and scored a touchdown as Texas won the game 55-23.
In 2021, he recorded a 1000 yards season and was named to the All Big-12 first team.
The 21-year-old had his best season yet in 2022, where he had 1580 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns to his name. Bijan Robinson was named a unanimous All-American and won the Doak Walker Award for the nation’s best running back.
His size and explosiveness make him an absolute beast at running back and teams will be fighting tooth and nail to draft him to their roster. Bijan is predicted to be a top-10 draft pick!
