The Alabama star defensive end Will Anderson Jr. played for 3 years with the Crimson Tide football team. Anderson became a starter in his freshman year itself and immediately adjusted to the pace of the SEC. He raked up 7 sacks and 52 total tackles in his 1st year with Bama.

During his second year under Nick Saban’s coaching, Will Anderson Jr. became the best defensive end in the entire nation as he raked up a nation-high 17.5 sacks and 101 total tackles for his team. He finished 5th in Heisman voting in 2021 and won the 2021 SEC Defensive Player of the Year award.

Anderson slowed up a bit during his senior year as he registered Conference-high 10 sacks and 51 total tackles. He still managed to win the 2022 SEC DPOY award and was named a Consensus All-American.
