Due to his defending capabilities, JJ Watt got drafted into NFL as a defensive end and has played for two teams – the Houston Texans and the Arizona Cardinals.
Watt’s early years in Wisconsin were filled with high hopes for his football dream. The Wisconsin college team found a fine defender in the form of Watt that played many games, finishing the season with 42 solo tackles. The season saw him earning Sports illustrated second team-All American, All-Big Ten first team, and was also voted for team MVP.
The Houston Texans drafted quite a worthy player in 2011 for 4 years deal for which Watt forgo his senior year. Later on, the Arizona Cardinals signed Watt for the 2021 season for two years. However, he announced his retirement on December 27, 2022, after playing fabulously for more than a decade in the league.
The 5 times Pro Bowl, the two times Second-team All-Pro, and 5 times First team All-Pro are some of the prestigious titles that added glory to Watt’s name.

Who is JJ Watt’s wife, Kealia Ohai?
The National Women’s Soccer League has an incredible player, Kealia Ohai Watt, who is now upgraded as the wife of the NFL player, JJ Watt. Ohai was born and raised in Utah and played soccer at an early age, establishing firm roots in the sport.
Her high school efforts for the sport gave her the titles of the two times Gatorade State Player of the year, three times First team All-American, and many more. She is a known athlete and has represented her team well. Ohai played previously with the Houston Dash and now is playing for the Chicago Red Stars.
She also gained name and fame after her association with JJ watt with whom she shares her life and their son.
Relationship between JJ Watt and Kealia Ohai
The two professional athletes fell in love and kept it hidden from the light of the media cover, keeping in mind of their respective famous positions. This was until Ohai uncovered her story with Watt and declared her love for him publicly on the 2 Up the Front podcast in the year 2016.
Their romance gained many fandoms, and the connection grew over the years, followed by the DE getting down on his knees, to which Ohai said yes. Their magical journey of love began and soon the wedding ceremony took place in the stunning Bahamas in February 2020. Although the couple was tied in love much earlier, the pandemic couldn’t allow them for their best honeymoon.
The duo heavily in love, passed years will all gloom and announced their first pregnancy in June 2022. They welcomed their firstborn son, Koa, in October with all joy and love.
JJ Watt realized the worth of having a lovely family by his side and wants to cherish each moment of it and so he announced his retirement from the NFL in December. He brought his son Koa for his last home game, along with Ohai, and had teary eyes for the moment.
