With over a decade of history of playing fabulously, he was playing for the Denver Broncos of the NFL until recently before his eventual waiving off by the team.
Melvin Gordon was born and raised in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on April 13, 1993. He was a multi-sport athlete at Mary D. Bradford high school and showed his devotion to both football and track & field. He bagged the titles like Gatorade football player of the year and an honorable mention in all states and all regions by the WFCA in his football career.
As a 4-star recruit by rivals.com, Gordon was ranked the 24th running back in the nation and the top player in Wisconsin by ESPN.com. Later, he committed to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison and took the Badgers football team forward. His 4 years in college made him quite a sensation with the brilliant games he played. He left the final year and was selected in the NFL draft.
In 2015, Gordon signed a 4-year contract with the NFL combined with the team San Diego and Los Angeles chargers with a choice of extension. His professional career took a swing, and he made his debut against Detroit Lions. He ended his season being a free agent and in 2020 was signed by the team Denver Broncos for two years with a year extension. His dedication to the game has gotten him Pro Bowl twice in the NFL seasons till now.
