Who will perform in the Superbowl half time show? When does it start?
The Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals will be going head to head in the Superbowl LVI on Sunday the 13th of February. It’s going to be the clash of the titans in the most anticipated game of the season.
Although the main focus is on football, some people also like to watch the Superbowl for various entertainment events. Many people will be glued to their TV screens to watch the Super Bowl Pepsi Halftime Show which attracts a lot of celebrities.
Who are the Stars lined up for the Superbowl Halftime Show?
The Superbowl Pepsi Halftime Show is a star-studded event with many popstars and celebrities performing halfway into the match. It started in the year 1967 wherein the performers were “Super Sighs and Sounds” with University of Arizona and Grambling State University bands.
Over the years the events have become very glamorous and have attracted some VIP guests. This time around as well it will be no different with some superstars set to take the centre stage in the Superbowl Pepsi Halftime Show. Last year the event was performed by singer The Weeknd.
Additionally the Superbowl is being held near Los Angeles which is one of the most hip and happening places in the world. The five guests who will be performing this year in the 15 minutes break are- Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar.
Moreover Mickey Guyton will be having the responsibility of singing the US national anthem which is a tradition at the Superbowl.
The match is set to start at 6:30 pm ET which means the halftime show can be expected to start at anytime around 8:00 pm ET and will go on for 15 minutes wherein the performances usually last for 12-13 minutes.
