The news of Kendrick Lamar headlining Super Bowl has hit the internet like a thunderbolt. Amidst the chaos, radio host Charlamagne Tha God mentioned the possibility of the NFL facing legal troubles if something involving Drake goes amiss. Kendrick and Drake’s feud is turning out to be the gift that keeps giving.

This year, Kendrick shared two number one singles in the US and both happened to be diss tracks about Drake. Therefore, fans have got hyped up with anticipation that the ‘Not Like Us’ singer will perform the track demeaning Drake during Super Bowl.

On a recent episode of The Breakfast Club, Charlamagne Tha God addressed the prospect of that. He stated that under no circumstances would Drake let Lamar call him slurs on a stage like Super Bowl. He also said that NFL and Roc Nation might have already been met with legal troubles from Drake’s team.

Charlamagne further mentioned that he wanted Lamar to play the opening cords and then just the hook of the song. The discussion then turned to Lil Wayne getting snubbed from Super Bowl halftime show in New Orleans.

This year’s Super Bowl will be Kendrick Lamar’s second appearance at the event. Back in 2022, he had a cameo in Dr. Dre‘s West Coast hip-hop showcase. That year, he also shared the stage with Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and 50 Cent.

Snoop Dogg recalls Dr. Dre and Eminem’s Super Bowl performance

In an episode of Drink Champs with Snoop Dogg, N.O.R.E. talked about his conversation with Jay-Z about the artist lineup at Super Bowl. He recalled Eminem asking for 50 Cents to perform with him and had even gone to the lengths of denying a performance if he wasn’t included.

To that, Snoop Dogg recounted with the obvious. He said that 50 Cent was Eminem’s guy and then playfully asked if N.O.R.E knew who Dr. Dre’s guy was.

Of course, that’s his guy! And guess who’s Dre’s guy? It’s me!

As of late, Eminem’s name has been surfacing regularly on the internet. His loyalty to his friend has constantly been referred to after the recent controversy surrounding Lil Wayne and Kendrick Lamar. Regardless, the Super Bowl is set for February 9, 2025.
