Joshua Norris, more popularly known as Josh Norris, is a young professional hockey player in the United States. He was born on 5 May 1999 in Oxford, Michigan, United States. His father, Dwayne Norris, is a former Canadian NHL player, and his mother is of American origin. Norris spent many years in Germany, where his father played hockey professionally. His father was his coach in youth hockey.
Joshua Norris is a member of the national hockey league and is presently playing for Ottawa Senators Hockey Club. He was recruited by the hockey team San Jose Sharks in the first round of the 2017 NHL entry.
Norris signed a 3-year contract with the Senators and played many seasons in 2019-2020 with Belleville of the American Hockey League. He won the Red Garrett Memorial Award as the AHL’s top rookie after scoring 61 points in 56 games and ranked third in the league.
