“Thank you” – Avalanche mascot Bernie thanks firefighters after Denver flash floods
Colorado Avalanche's mascot Bernie St. Bernard thank firefighters
Colorado Avalanche mascot Bernie handed out lunch boxes at local fire stations across the Denver Metro Area on Tuesday. But it wasn’t just the lunch boxes that got delivered.
Bernie carried a clone Stanley Cup and gave it to the fighters to honor them for their heroic deed at all times, especially projecting the recent Denver flash floods.
Bernie the St. Bernard stands by the brave firefighters in Denver
Now the Stanley Cup has got its twin living in Denver, waiting to meet his older brother, who’s on a summer tour with the Avalanche players. The Avalanche team wanted to thank the fire heroes for their quick response to the urban and flash floodings across the different parts of the city due to heavy rains on Sunday.
Bernie the St. Bernard personally made an appearance at their base with lunch boxes and took time to spend a moment with the firefighters and enjoy a clone Cup moment with them, as noted on nhl.com. Currently, the Cup is traveling in British Columbia. After its summer tours are over, the Cup will return to Denver to meet his new brother.
