Another day, another huge fight in the NHL. On Monday night, all hell broke loose as Brady Tkachuk ignited a massive brawl between the Ottawa Senators and Florida Panthers in a fierce game. This enormous clash between the two sets of players saw all 10 players being fined for their misconduct in this brawl.

The stage for the game was set as the Senators captain led his team to face off against his brother Matthew Tkachuk. Before this incident, the elder Tkachuk got into a fight and was handed a suspension for his actions earlier in the game. However, the drama kicked off late in the third period.

The Panthers had been cruising the game and were in firm control. With the scoreline 4-0 in their favor, the Sens were getting frustrated. As Brady Tkachuk tried to pull one back, his effort was saved by goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky. The pressure got the better of the Senators forward as he tried to slash his hockey stick at the skates of the goalie.

Panthers’ defenceman Dmitry Kulikov was left unimpressed by the actions of Tkachuk and chased him down towards the boards behind the goal. This soon ignited a huge brawl as the players joined in on the clash. Check out this enormous clash of players on the ice-field below:

Senators-Panthers combine for 167 penalty minutes in hotly hotly-contested game

The fast-paced action of the NHL has seen several fights and massive brawls over the years. The clashes between the Ottawa Senators and Florida Panthers have kicked up as well. This encounter between them saw the two teams combine for 167 penalty minutes as they locked horns in a hotly-contested game.

Last season, these teams were involved in another massive fight. Both Tkachuk brothers had dropped their gloves in separate fights. The game in April 2023 saw them combine for 166 penalty minutes, one short of this game.

Once the dust had settled, the referee hilariously handed them their fine and suspended them for their misconduct on the field. Panthers’ coach Paul Maurice was seen counting the players on his bench and smiling and said it was a fun game after his side emerged as 5-0 winners on the night.

It is now time for players to cool down and get ready for the next match. The Panthers are involved in another huge clash as they face the Toronto Maple Leafs. Whereas, the bottom-placed Sens will look to bounce back against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
