Looks like Marc-Andre Fleury won’t be needing any toilet paper for the next few years as his former teammate Brandon Duhaime kindly wrapped his luxurious car with it. The duo’s prank war started back in December with both teasing each other relentlessly in classic fashion.

However, the forward was traded to the Colorado Avalanche during the March 7 deadline in exchange for a 3rd round draft pick. Regardless, the distance didn’t stop Duhaime from showing unconditional love to Fleury. Before the Wild vs. Avs game at Xcel Energy Center, the 26-year-old covered Fleury’s car with toilet paper.

Wilds X account noted, “Dew you need some toilet paper? ?” It was pretty clear who the culprit could be, but making an enemy out of the crowned NHL prankster could only result in one’s own safety hazards. The Avs X account noted “increases security for next week,” in response to Fleury’s threat,

On Thursday, the Avs won 5-2 against the Wilds. It was Duhaime’s first game back in Minnesota following his trade. However, the Wilds will be visiting the Avs, and Fleury will get plenty of time to think of revenge. The reaction of Fleury’s teammates was hilarious as some were shocked while the rest knew whose artwork it could be.

Funnily enough, Brandon Duhaime denied taking any part in this, saying,

I heard he has beef with a few guys though, so that’s a good one. I like whoever did that...I don’t know who did it. I couldn’t even snitch on the guy. I don’t know who did it.

Fleury said he was proud of his work and gave credit to the forward for his hard work. Later the video captured Fleury leaving the garage with the toilet paper wrapped around it. Their friendly war started after Duhaime called Fleury “50” years old in an interview.

Although Brandon Duhaime started the prank war with teammate Marc-Andre Fleury back in December, he learned the hard way to not put his life at risk. Following their game against the Boston Bruins, Duhaime in an interview called Fleury “50” years old.

He noted it was ‘unbelievable”, “special and he’s awesome” when he was asked what it feels like to share the ice with Fleury. However, his praise fell short of letting the goalie slide his earlier comment. Soon after this incident Duhaime found his clothes missing and was forced to walk down the hallway with only his jacket on.

Marc-Andre Fleury told The Athletics writer Michael Russo that Brandon Duhaime will surely find his clothes somewhere sometime. Furthermore, Fleury took his shoes and he was left with white furry boots in a game against the Detroit Red Wings.

When asked about his involvement in Duhaime’s missing clothes and shoes, he laughingly noted,

Yeah, he’s building up a little wardrobe you know…It was good…it wasn’t me though.

Later Duhaime left a pink cane in front of the net, as the goalie called it a delivery from Santa. Their prank saga continues and it’ll be interesting to see how Fleury gets his revenge this time.
