The Chicago Blackhawks announced that they have signed defenceman Caleb Jones and forward Philipp Kurashev to a 1-year contract. Both of them will be joining the Blackhawks training camp starting on September 21.

The restricted free agent Jones carries a deal worth $1,350,000 million while Kurashev signed a contract worth $750,000. The team announced their contract signups on Friday.

Blackhawks confirm their signup with Caleb Jones and Philipp Kurashev

In the first season with the Blackhawks, Jones recorded a career-high of 5 goals and 10 assists in 51 games, and Kurashev scored 6 goals and 15 assists in 67 games last season, as per tsn.ca.

Kurashev got chosen by the team during the 2018 Draft and Jones joined the Blackhawks in a trade in July 2021, that sent Duncan Keith to Edmonton Oilers.
