David Krejci has been an important player for the Boston Bruins. The loss of him makes things even more difficult for the side as they have already lost Patrice Bergeron. The pressure now is thoroughly on the shoulders of Pavel Zacha and Charlie Coyle to deliver as centers for the upcoming season.

Following his retirement, fellow veterans Brad Marchand and Milan Lucic remain the last standing warriors from their 2011 winning team. While the Bruins are making moves to replace their star players, it would be a little difficult to find exact replacements. Twitter was full of praises for Krejci and shared their wholesome tributes toward the veteran. One user wrote it was an “End of an era.”. Here are a few other reactions.

The 2023-24 season will be a new dawn for the Bruins. They will now be preparing to play without their two stars players after a long time. The pressure is certainly on them and most likely has got doubled. After a historic season last year, the team failed to reach the finals after being eliminated early on by the surprise package in the form of the Florida Panthers. Will the Bruins be able to do one better without the influence of Krejci and Bergeron would be interesting to witness.
