A few days back, the Stanley Cup took a trip over to the beach with Colorado Avalanche defenceman Kurtis MacDermid where the latter indulged the Cup to have the party of its life on the beach.
It was a beautiful sunny day with a massive amount of people gathered to congratulate and take pictures with both the stars of the show. The party was held at Sauble Beach, Ontario. The town was glowing with life as it welcomed the iconic Cup and its champion back to his home.

MacDermid raised and kissed the Cup while later posed in front of the “Welcome to Sauble Beach” sign to take a few gorgeous photos for social media. It is the Avalanche’s first Stanley Cup victory since its last in 2001. It sure is a special feeling that all the team players are embracing as they get to spend time with Lord Stanley.
MacDermid made his NHL debut with Los Angeles on an opening night in a 2-0 victory against Philadelphia Flyers in 2017. The Seattle Kraken later signed him up in 2021 and a month later they traded him to Colorado Avalanche in exchange for a fourth-round pick in 2023. He signed a 2-year contract with the Avalanche worth $1,975,000 million.
