The 32-year-old left winger has not enjoyed too much success this season. He only has one assist to his name and has seen his game time being reduced by a huge margin. This has visibly left him frustrated.

Fights in the NHL are a common occurrence. Many times players can be seen grabbing each other by their jerseys while swinging punches at each other. In one such recent fight, Edmonton Oilers‘ forward Evander Kane dropped his glove to face off his former teammate Brenden Dillion during their game against the Winnipeg Jets.

The two former San Jose Sharks players were in no mood to stand down. The duo dropped their equipment in the midway of the second regulation period and squared off, ready to pounce. Both men swung their fists but were unable to keep their balance while skating.

After the game, Kane admitted that he did this because he was not finding time to be on the ice field. What was that is true motive or just pure frustration, only he knows about it.

He will now have the chance to prove himself to his coach and teammates again when the Oilers take to the field next time out without their star forward. The Oilers who are currently 1-3-1 this season, would be hoping to get some positive results to get their derailed season back on track.
