Kirill Kaprizov expected to return to Minnesota Wild within this week

Finally, some peace returned to Minnesota Wild as their star winger Kirill Kaprizov left Russia successfully and is expected to return to his team by this week. An air of gloom surrounded the Wilds as they expected to turn to the 2022-23NHL  season without news about their left winger.

Earlier this summer news came that Kaprixov couldn’t clear to New York twice from his home country in allegation of possessing a fake military ID back in 2017. However, Michael Russo of The Athletic reported that the Russian winger is back in the U.S and will return sometime this week.

The report stated, “Wild superstar Kirill Kaprizov is safe and sound in the United States, according to multiple NHL sources. He left Russia late last week by way of Turkey, arrived over the weekend in New York City, and is scheduled to fly to Minnesota on Tuesday.” According to Russo, the reason behind his clearance isn’t clear.

It could be that the 25-year-old player was granted entry due to possessing a U.S work permit or it could also be that his motherland managed to secure a military determent. Even though this is something the fans are curious about, as of now they don’t care as long as their favorite player can go back to his team. A sign of relief is both found within the team and the Minnesota fans.
