After a not-so-good season, Cayden will finally be able to prove his worth once again on the NHL ice competing behind Jake Allen and Samuel Montembeault. Carey Price as expected will not be part of this season or even the next.

Last season the 23-year-old recorded 1-7-1 in 12 games with the team, posting a record of 4.62 goals-against-average, and a .868 save percentage. Apart from the 18 games played in his NHL career, he was also a part of the AHL where he scored16-12-3 for Laval Rocket.
