Former Colorado Avalanche goalie Darcy Kuemper spends his last Avalanche day with the Stanley Cup at his hometown. On July 13th the goaltender signed a 5-year $26.25 million contract with the Washington Capitals.
He recorded a .921 save percentage, 2.54 goals against average, and 5 shutouts in 57 starts for the Avalanche during the 2021-22 season. He performed a phenomenal job during the 2022 Stanley Cup championships against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Darcy Kuemper gets his time alone with the Stanley Cup

On Saturday Kuemper spent his entire day with his dog Rogie, and with the Stanley Cup in his hometown Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Though this is not the only dog who spent his day with the gorgeous Cup.
He further went down to the Royal University Hospital to share his day with the young patients, as per nhl.com. Not to say Darcy Kuemper sweetly obliged to click a few pictures while he was at it, thus ending his last Cup day as an Avalanche member.
