Jordan Kyrou will be donning “Blue Note” after signing 8-year deal with the St. Louis Blues

With a $65 million contract in hand, forward Jordan Kyrou is looking ahead to the 2022-23 regular season plus the Stanley Cup Playoffs in the near future. The contract activates from the next 2023-24 season with an 8-year deal and $8.125 million annual average value.
After the signing was confirmed on Tuesday, Kyrou stated on the Blues’ website, “I’m so thankful to the Blues organization for putting their trust in me and giving me the opportunity to wear the Blue Note for the foreseeable future”.

Kyrou further noted, “Being able to call St. Louis my home is amazing. I can’t say enough about how much I love the city. And to the best fans in the League, I can’t thank you enough for always showing me love and support.”
The 23-year-old forward was selected by St. Louis during the 2016 National Hockey League Entry Draft in the 2nd round as the 35th overall. He had his career-best with 27 goals, 45 assists, and 75 points. He tied the Blues for 3rd with 19 power-play points and ranked 4th with overall points.
Last season he recorded 122 points with 46 goals and 76 assists in 173 NHL regular-season games and 10 points with 8 goals and 2 assists in 21 postseason games with the Blues.
“It’s pretty incredible”. “This is something you work your whole life for and to finally get [a long-term contract] done feels amazing. It’s a very special moment for me and my family,” Kyrou said.
