“Just so happy” – NHL Draft pick Maveric Lamoureux’s parents swapping steamy kiss on Live TV

Maveric Lamoureux's parents share a steamy kiss on live TV

The 2022 Upper Deck NHL Draft was far from boring, thanks to Maveric Lamoureux’s parents making out in front of live TV after hearing about their son’s selection. Top NHL Draft pick’s parents Isabelle, and Patrick stole the spotlight from their son to themselves unknowingly on Thursday night. Their steamy kiss was captured on the camera as Lamoureux got selected by the Arizona Coyotes as the 29th overall.

Lamoureux started his journey from the Drummondville Voltigeurs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. Unfortunately, he was there to watch the PDA moment unfold as he stood on the draft stage wearing a Coyotes cap. The young man surely started blushing after taking a peek at his parent’s actions. Surely this was a moment not to be missed even by the broadcast commentators.

Maveric Lamoureux looked sheepishly at his parents while they were busy at the makeout sesh. Later Lamoureux’s dad said during an interview, that it was “the best day of my life.” Lamoureux was the highest-ranked Quebec contender. He ranked 20th on the NHL Central Scouting list.

His mom said, “I’m really happy. I’m proud of him”. “Already at four, five years old, he told us that he was going to play in the NHL”. “We were like, ”Yes, yes, that’s it. Keep going to school.’ We knew there was very little chance.” Congratulations to him for getting into the Coyotes family. While some enjoyed the kissing scene, others noted, according to tmz.com, “Hey, we’re in Quebec, get after it.”
