Sean Avery and Hilary Rhoda file for separation
Ex-Ranger Sean Avery and his model wife Hilary Rhoda’s separation has become a hot topic on the internet. The couple is apparently over with all dramas, as the model queen filed for divorce, as reported by TMZ on Tuesday. The reason for the divorce was noted as having “irreconcilable differences”.
Rhoda filed the court documents in Los Angeles this week. The pair got married in 2015 and separated on July 17 as per the documents. Rhoda has started making preparations to get their 2-year-old son’s custody but has checked the box to share legal custody with Avery.

The couple is said to have signed a prenup, as noted on tmz.com. Till now there have been no signs of the couple moving toward a split up. Even on Rhoda’s birthday, back in April, Avery wrote a sweet message for her on social media stating, “Happy Birthday to the most beautiful woman in the world who continues to evolve as a creative and, more importantly, an incredible mother”.

Apart from the court filings, no other statement has been made regarding their divorce. Both of their attorneys are keeping their mouths shut as of now. Avery retired from the NHL as a Ranger back in 2012. Though he planned to make his return earlier this year by signing with the ECHL Orlando Solar Bears in February, he was released two days after signing with the team.
