‘Will he display his versatility?’- Nino Niederreiter to amplify firepower in Predators’ lineup

Nino Niederreiter put his pen to a two-year, 8 million contract for the Nashville Predators, a couple of months back. He admits it wasn’t his first choice as he was looking for someplace best suited to his needs when he was an unrestricted free agent.
Nashville Predators were traveling to Switzerland, where Niederreiter is a native. Nino had some reservations about this as he didn’t want to join because of this scenario. But as the predators spent a better part of the week in Switzerland, it helped Nino to settle well and break the ice.
Nino Niederreiter had appeared in the Stanley Cup Playoffs every year since 2014, playing in 82 games and posting 30 points (15g-15a). In fact most recently, he emerged during the 2021-22 playoffs standing second among the team in playoff goals.
Nino Niederreiter is quite happy with his decision to join the predators
The Nashville Predators spent 4 days in Switzerland to play a preseason friendly against SC Bern. This came to be of some relief to Niederreiter as the formalities before the game turned into some comfort and solace for Nino Niederreiter as his family was also there and the local crowd cheering for him really helped him settle his nerves.
“It’s going to be really special, especially for my grandmas, “They both never saw me play live in the NHL, so it’s going to be pretty special having them in the building watching me play for the first time”, said Nino who was ecstatic that this was made possible. Nino couldn’t thank the organizers and fans enough for this wonderful event.
With all this done, the NHL season starts on the 13th of October with Nino Niederreiter already set his eyes on winning the cup. With the addition of Nino to their roster, the Predators have a solid frontline capable of firing on all cylinders.
