This past Saturday, the NHL world witness a spectacular event in the form of the NHL All-Star Game 2024. The event took place from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto and brought several stars together. One of them was Sidney Crosby. The Pittsburgh Penguins captain though has now found his name in the middle of a feud.

During the festivities, the veteran forward was not present at the Player’s Draft and instead went to skating. This led to a fierce reaction from Frank Seravalli, who ripped in an online rant. Social media sensation and current WWE commentator Pat McAfee later blasted the NHL Insider.

Seravalli was not impressed with the actions of Crosby and raised some huge questions. In the rant he asked why the 36-year-old never got any heat from fans and why no one was ever critical of him for his behavior during this showpiece event.

This words from Seravalli later sparked huge debate on social media. As the video kept on circulating, it would eventually find it’s way towards, McAfee. He would later come into his aide and attack the reporter for his words against Crosby.

As Frank Seravalli did not seem pleased with the actions of Sidney Crosby, Pat McAfee seemingly felt the same way for him. While speaking with former NHLer P.K. Subban at The Pat McAfee Show, the former NFL star came into the defence of Crosby.

During their conversation, he would speak about the reaction of the NHL insider. A while later, McAfee would embark on a huge rant and did not hold back from taking a shot at Seravalli.

Who’s that Canadian, Frank? What was that? That thing’s name? Frankie is the guy who talks sh*t about Sidney. Ah, Seravalli, that guy. P.K. tell him he needs to go in and keep his trap shut when he’s talking about Sidney Crosby, Okay.

Crosby was part of Team MacKinnon, led by Nathan MacKinnon during the NHL All-Star game. He would register two assists during the game but was unable to help this team reach the final. The event was won Team Matthews of Auston Matthews as they overcome Team McDavid 7-4 in the three-on-three mini tournament final.

The actions of Sidney Crosby during the event are now being heavily debated on social media platforms. The Penguins captain though seemed unfazed by the criticism and is looking forward to the second half of the season.
