Patrice Bergeron-Cleary is an ice hockey center and captain of the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League. He played junior hockey with Acadie-Bathurst Titan of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. Later he got selected 45th overall in the 2003 NHL Draft by the Boston Bruins. He started with the Bruins during the 2003-04 season. He won gold medals at the 2004 World Championships, 2005 World Junior Championships, 2010 Winter Olympics, 2012 Springer Cup, and the 2014 Winter Olympics. 

He won the Stanley Cup with the Boston Bruins in 2011 and became a member of the Triple Gold Club. Patrice earned 5 wins in the Frank J. Selke Trophy which is awarded annually to the NHL forward with the best defensive skill.  He is also considered one of the two-way forward in the history of the NHL. He also took part in the 1998 and 1999 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournaments. He runs with a net worth of $5 million as of 2022. After getting drafted in the 2003 NHL Draft, Patrice Bergeron began his career with the Boston Bruins. He was chosen for the NHL YoungStars Game in Minnesota as part of the 2004 All-Star Weekend. With 39 points in 71 games, he finished his rookie season. He scored his first NHL goal in a game against the Los Angeles Kings in a 4-3 victory for the Boston Bruins. On January 11, 2011, Patrice scored his first NHL hat trick with a Bruins victory against Ottawa Senators. 

He was named the NHL First Star of the Month and the First Star of the Week twice in January. He won the Frank J. Selke Trophy two times in his career. On his second trophy win, he was awarded the NHL Foundation Player Award and got named the cover athlete for the NHL 15 video game in the same ceremony. Patrice Bergeron’s 200th career goal came in a game against the Chicago Blackhawks and also became the 17th player in franchise history to score 200 or more career goals for the club. 

During the 2018-19 season, he achieved two milestones, he played his 1000th NHL game and broke the 800-point mark. Patrice ranked 4th  on the Boston Bruins’ all-time scoring list with a total of 917 points with 375 goals and 542 assists. In the 2020-21 season, he won the Mark Messier Leadership Award. He contributed greatly to the international stage also. He won many awards and recognitions at international hockey tournaments and championships.
