The legend of Sidney Crosby knows no end. The Pittsburgh Penguins captain has continued to charm the audiences with this excellent skill. He would once again show them off as the 36-year-old recorded a hat trick in an exceptional victory over the Colombus Blue Jackets.

This performance from their leader helped them claim a fifth successive win. It was the “Next One” sixteenth hat trick of his incredible NHL career as he brought a vintage performance.

The first goal came in the first regulation period. With the game still scoreless, he would find himself in the right spot to slam the puck home. His second game was at a crucial time as he gave his team the lead in the third regulation period. A perfectly timed pass was well diverted in from the Canadian international to make it 4-3.

He would wrap up the game to make it 5-3 in the dying minutes of the game. With the Blue Jackets chasing a goal, they left their goal open. This allowed the Penguins to snatch the puck in the last minute. A pass from Bryan Rust saw Crosby place it in the back of the net for his 560th goal in the league.
