“GO LEAFS GO” – Toronto’s biggest fan Kurtis Stevenson erupts in joy post triumph over Tampa Bay

Kurtis Stevenson raects to Toronto's win
The Toronto Maple Leafs clinched a 5-2 lead in the Stanley Cup and gained the lead in the best-of-seven playoffs series in the Game 3 against the Tampa Bay Lightning at Amalie Arena. Toronto’s goalie Jack Campbell emerged as one of the top performers in the match as he came in the way of Lightning skipper Steven Stamkos’ aim with his ‘biggest save’ to evaporate the 3-2 lead they conceded on Friday.
“I think it’s human nature that, as an athlete, you want to be the best you can be,” Campbell said, as quoted by NHL.com. “Obviously, ‘Vasy’ has proven how good he is over the course of his NHL career. So it’s a fun challenge. And I’d be lying if I said I don’t want to do my best to beat him.”
He added: “Thankfully, our team’s been playing so well in front of me and scoring a lot of goals. It’s been huge for us. Sometimes with the quality that Tampa has, they’re going to make great plays. He made a great play there, and fortunately, it stayed out.”
Reacting to this crucial win, Maple Leafs’ biggest fan – Kurtis Stevenson erupted in joy and posted a video of his pouring emotions. He tweeted:
“14 more to glory

Who is Kurtis Stevenson – Leafs’ biggest fan?

As per a story in Fansided, Kurtis is a self-proclaimed “small town average schmuck who loves drinking beer and (watching) the Leafs.” The dedication to his collection and loyalty to Leafs Nation has stuck with him his entire life.
However, he lives in Alberta and is only able to attend a few Leafs games per year when Toronto visits Calgary and/or Edmonton. Nonetheless, he never misses out on his favourite team’s every game from home.
