This season, Tyler Seguin has recorded 42 points in 64 games with 17 goals and 25 assists. During his NHL career, the forward picked up 728 points with 322 goals and 406 assists in 890 games. The NHL star ranks 4th on the Central Division-leading team, the Dallas Stars.

Stars coach Peter DeBoer said, “We’ll evaluate. He got stitched up. We’ll see how he is tomorrow”. According to USA Today, Seguin partially cut his tendon back in the 2015-16 season during a skate. This horrifying incident also reminded NHL fans of the Evader Kane incident in 2022.

Kane had to miss 3 months of the 2022-23 season following his November surgery after his wrist got cut by a skate. It was Pat Maroon whose skate caused the incident, but the Lightning forward was unaware of the incident.

He later apologized in a heartfelt gesture when Kane returned on ice in January. Both these Kane and Seguin incidents left bloody ice following his leave from the arena. Fans have wished well for the Stars forward to be back in full health as soon as possible.
