On a Twitter video posted by the Washington Capitals, Michael commented, “Well ladies and gentlemen, what you don’t know but what I know, this isn’t just a jersey”. “This isn’t just a Washington Capitals jersey. This is a Capitals jersey given to me by my buddy, who was a draft pick in 2007, and played for your Washington Capitals for nine years before the old Stanley Cup came here. Beautiful Karl Alzner just gave me this. Thank you, Karl.”
The Capitals captioned the video noting, “It’s a beautiful day and we can’t stop smiling at the video”. With the team, Alzner has played 9 NHL seasons, and 3 seasons with the Canadiens.
