Gabriel Landeskog is a professional ice hockey player for the Colorado Avalanche of the National Hockey League. He plays in the position of a left-winger and as the captain of the team. He got drafted in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft by Colorado in the 2nd overall. He became the youngest captain in NHL history on 4th September 2012. He began his hockey career as he started playing for the Hammarby IF. Gabriel was named as the alternate captain for the 2011 World Junior Championships and the 2012 World Championships.
It is reported that the 29-year captain is carrying a net worth of $6 million as of 2022. On 1st March 2012, Gabriel Landeskog was named as NHL’s Top Rookie of the Month in February after he recorded 7 goals and 6 assists for the month. He participated in all 82 regular-season games during the 2011-12 season and won the Calder Memorial Trophy as Rookie of the Year in 2012. He got married to his girlfriend Melissa Shouldice and is now the father of two children.
