Hilary Knight is an American ice hockey forward who is with the Professional Women’s Hockey Players Association and the United States Women’s National Ice Hockey Team. She won the inaugural Isobel Cup when she was part of the Les Canadiennes de Montreal of the CWHL and the Boston Pride of the NWHL. During her 1st in the University of Wisconsin-Madison, she helped the team place 2nd in the NCAA Championships.

The following year she led her team in points and won the National Championships with the Badgers. With the United Nation’s national team Hilary Knight won 7 gold medals at the IIHF World Women’s Championships and the gold medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics. In November 2006 Hilary Knight participated in the Team USA Four-Nation Cup championship and also in the 2007 IIHF World Women’s Championship where she was considered the youngest player on both the teams. During her freshman season, she scored 20 goals and 18 assists and was ranked 7th in the nation in points per game for rookies and game-winning goals. She had 12 multi-point games in the 2007-2008 season. On February 2, Knight registered a hat trick against WCHA rival North Dakota.

On September 27, 2008, she enjoyed a career-high of 5 goals in 1 game against the Quinnipiac Bobcats, and shortly after on November 6 she had her third hat trick. On December 10, 2011, Hilary Knight scored 4 points in a game against the Bemidji State and had a career total of 239 points. She ended her career with the Badgers with 262 career points, the all-time leader in 143 goals, 30 game-winning goals, 37 power-play goals, and 8 short-hand goals.

She was later selected in the 2012 CWHL Draft by the Boston Blades where she ended the season as the 3rd overall in league scoring. Knight won the CWHL’s MVP Award. Later she started her career with the Boston Pride of the NWHL. She scored an OT goal in Game 1 of the 2016 Isobel Cup Finals. On March 8, 2018, the Les Canadiennes de Montreal announced that Knight would be part of their team for the 2018 CWHL playoff run. She helped the team achieve the 2019 Clarkson Cup finals.
