Roman Josi began his career at a very young age. In the 2014-2015 season, Roan had a career-high where he ranked 5th among defensemen in scoring and finishing with 55 points. In the next season, Roman Josi was appointed as the alternate captain along with James Neal. Roman’s defensive plates played an important role for the Predators in winning the Stanley Cup playoffs in 2017. Roman ended the season with 12 goals and 49 points even after sustaining a few injuries.

He was named the 7th captain of the Predators on September 19, 2017. Roman became a part of the Swiss National Team at the 2010 Winter Olympics. He also participated in the 2007, 2008, and 2009 IIHF World U20 Championship. In the 2013 IIHF World Championship in Stockholm, Sweden, Roman Josi won the MVP award. He later retired to the team at the 2016 World Cup.
