Nia Jax outlasted several other women to make her way to the King & Queen of the Ring PLE. She then beat Lyra Valkyria in the finals of the Queen of the Ring tournament, earning herself a WWE Women’s Championship title shot. She is now set to face Bayley at SummerSlam, and the two are already having tense moments on Smackdown.

The Role Model came out to interrupt Tiffany Stratton on the latest episode of SmackDown. This eventually led to Nia Jax also coming out and reminding the champion that she was coming for her title. During their back-and-forth, the 35-year-old said that she was no longer the Hugger version of herself that the Samoan put on the shelf for three months in 2017.

The Irresistible Force agreed, saying that she was no longer the hugger character that she injured prior to her SummerSlam match in 2017. She bent sideways to look at her rear end and called her “BBL Bayley.” Further, she accused the champion of trying to cause a rift between herself and Tiffany Stratton. She even called Ms. Money in the Bank a ‘barbie doll.’

However, the Californian wasn’t a toy to Jax. She was instead going to be her victim. The former Women’s Champion promised to victimize Bayley at their upcoming match at SummerSlam. This eventually led to a brawl between the three superstars, causing Michin to come out with a kendo stick.

Michin comes in to save Bayley, suffers the wrath of Nia Jax instead

Stratton and Jax started to overpower the 2024 Royal Rumble winner during their brawl at the end of the segment. This led to Michin rushing to the ring, hitting them both with a kendo stick, and driving them out. The former TNA star did the same last week, when she saved Bayley from the wrath of Nia Jax.

This sequence of events eventually lead to Michin facing Jax in a singles match. The match saw some interference from Stratton. However, the WWE Women’s champion came out to even the odds. Regardless, the Samoan picked up the victory after hitting her opponent with a Bonzai Drop.

In a post-show clip, the former Damage CTRL leader thanked Mia Yim for saving her two weeks in a row. The former Mae Young Classic winner said that she was not done with the Queen of the Ring winner yet, and was going to extract revenge for her loss that night.
