The upcoming women’s WarGames match boasts a rich tapestry of storytelling, offering more depth than initially meets the eye. The dynamics between teammates are particularly compelling, especially the history between Bianca Belair and Bayley, who made life hell for each other while the latter was the leader of Damage CTRL.
Shortly after the latest episode of Raw went off the air, Belair took to her X account. She wanted her fans’ opinion on whether Bayley had truly changed and if she could be trusted. She admitted that Nia Jax was beating her down, and things could have ended very differently had The Role Model not gotten involved. The Irresistible Force responded to this tweet and said that the 35-year-old got lucky, considering that the 2024 Royal Rumble winner came to her aid.
These posts were followed by a highly eventful episode of Monday Night Raw. The babyfaces had to prioritize finding themselves a replacement for Jade Cargill in the WarGames match after the Storm was found brutalized in the parking lot on SmackDown. Iyo Sky suggested Kairi Sane, and Naomi suggested Bayley. However, Belair did not seem too pleased with either option.

In the main event of Raw, Belair faced Jax in a WarGames advantage match. During the match, Bayley made a shocking appearance on the red brand after nearly nine months. She pushed the Samoan off the turnbuckle, allowing the 35-year-old to capitalize and win the match. The two superstars gave each other a look as the show went off the air.
Will Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill be stripped of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship?
Fans have seen time and again championships stripped off of wrestlers after suffering an injury. This is even sadder for the tag belts. Both superstars are forced to vacate their titles, even if just one of them has to spend time on the shelf. With Jade Cargill now being injured, fans wondered what this meant for her and Bianca Belair.
According to WrestleVotes, WWE is soon planning to strip the 2x Women’s Tag Team Champions of their titles. There is no information about when or where this will happen. However, this change is likely inevitable and could happen as soon as the night after Survivor Series: WarGames.
It is no wonder that the WWE Universe has declared the Women’s Tag Team Championship as being cursed. Multiple wrestlers who have held these belts have gotten injured during their reign. This includes various top superstars like Liv Morgan and Sonya Deville. In the latter case, Chelsea Green still managed to hold on to her title after finding a new partner in the form of Piper Niven. Unfortunately, Belair does not appear to be so lucky.
