This week’s SmackDown had a pretty rough start to the show. The theme followed throughout, even during the behind-the-scenes segments. A cranked up Michin met Nia Jax in the backstage area. The two stars had a rugged interaction. However, when the dust settled down, the focal point was the Queen of the Ring suffering two consecutive botches.
Michin bumped into Nia Jax backstage. They got into a heated argument afterward when the Irresistible Force teased the OC member. It led to them throwing punches at each other while Mia Yim smashed a beverage on Jax’s face. It created a hilarious moment, as whenever the former women’s champion tried to get the 35 year-old, she would tumble due to the slippery floor.
The Queen of the Ring winner slipped onto the floor not once, but twice. It made the backstage brawl even more entertaining, as the Irresistible Force needed officials to get up on her feet in this serious but funny encounter. Jax has been on a roll lately. Therefore, such slips and botches could dull her portrayal of being the top heel on the roster.
Nonetheless, Jax is all set to take on the Women’s Champion at SummerSlam as the prize for winning the Queen of the Ring tournament. As for Michin, she is all set to be part of the ladder match to crown the first ever NXT Women’s North American Champion this weekend at Battleground.
