The latest episode of SmackDown featured Bayley coming out to interrupt Tiffany Stratton. However, Nia Jax showed up to remind the champion that they were set to face each other at SummerSlam. This eventually resulted in a brawl between the three, and Michin came out with a kendo stick to save her friend. This later turned into a one-on-one match between The Irresistible Force and Mia Yim.
The match ended with Nia Jax landing her Bonzai Drop on the former TNA wrestler, allowing her to pick up the victory with a pinfall. She then got up, faced the audience, and raised her index finger. This is, of course, the iconic symbol of acknowledging one’s Tribal Chief in The Bloodline.
After doing the iconic pose, Jax beat her chest and said something to the camera. However, her words were not picked up by the microphone due to the loud noise of the arena and the ring announcer announcing her as the victor of the match. Several fans claimed the finger represented the number one, with her announcing that she was the number one contender for the WWE Women’s Championship. This was simply a throwback to her promo with Bayley earlier in the show.
Jax comes from a Samoan lineage herself. She belongs to the Anoa’i family and is indeed related to Roman Reigns, The Usos, Solo Sikoa, and most other members of The Bloodline. Interestingly, the promotion even drafted her to the same brand as the group in the latest edition of the WWE Draft. If the promotion wants her involved in the storyline, she is just around the corner.
Wrestling fans go ballistic after Nia Jax does the iconic Bloodline acknowledgement pose
This simple action by Nia Jax triggered many theories and speculations on the internet. Many thought that this was a sign of her acknowledging Solo Sikoa as her Tribal Chief. Some fans joked about how she was simply trying to fit in after WWE didn’t include women in The Bloodline.

Fans were mouth-watering at the prospect of such a strong female character in The Bloodline. The group has dominated the main-event picture on the men’s side for nearly four years. It would be incredible to witness the same on the women’s roster. If WWE includes female members, several speculated that Naomi might join the group as well. She is related to the Anoa’i family through marriage, having tied the knot with Jimmy Uso.
The Queen of the Ring winner is now set to face Bayley for the WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam. She has completely transformed herself with her work on the main roster over the past year. The Biggest Party of the Summer would be the perfect time to give her a big push, especially if she is to join the Samoan faction.
