A current WWE champion feels grateful for her release from WWE in 2021. Recently, in an interview, the 40-year-old Superstar expressed how a release from the company played a crucial role in revitalizing her career. The name in the spotlight is none other than Nia Jax, who had a motivating response when asked about her initial WWE exit.
Speaking with Cathy Kelley, Jax opened up about her past and the present as the Women’s Champion. While being positive, she said that her unceremonious exit from the company helped her in resetting her career. The Irresistible Force added that she realized her passion for wrestling while she was away from the sport.
The WWE Women’s Champion also accepted that she missed being on the road with her friends, entertaining people, and being in the ring for over three years. However, that time off helped her elevate herself in terms of wrestling. Taking that into account, Nia Jax called the present to be the best time of her career.
Nia Jax says her departure from WWE in late 2021 was "probably the best thing that ever happened" to her:

Furthermore, ever since her return last year, the 40-year-old has been on a roll in WWE. She defeated Bayley at SummerSlam to capture the Women’s Title. In her first PLE defense, she is going to be facing The Role Model this Saturday at Bad Blood. It will be interesting to see how her current title reign pans out.
Nia Jax reflected on her rivalry with Bayley in WWE ahead of Bad Blood
Nia Jax and Bayley have been arch nemeses every since their days in NXT. They have faced each other several times in their careers to solidify an intriguing rivalry in the process. Recently, Jax discussed her dynamic with the 35-year-old and how she looked up to her in the early days of her career.
In the same interview, Jax said that her match with Bayley at NXT Takeover London was a defining moment for her career. However, she was always gunning for The Role Model from the back, as the latter was in the main event scene. It extended to the main roster as well, which always fueled the fire in her heart to be better than the former Women’s Champion.
Furthermore, The Irresistible Force added that at Bad Blood she looks to finally end the feud with the 35-year-old. Therefore, her match this Saturday is certainly one of the most important encounters of her career, said Jax.
