WWE Backlash was a pretty successful premium live event with enthralling matches and storylines. However, one of the most prominent reasons for the show’s success was the French crowd, which kept the atmosphere thunderous throughout the night. SmackDown GM Nick Aldis was also a first-hand witness to the amazing crowd when he announced a massive change in a tag team match.

The British manager took to Instagram and shared a video of him making an important announcement. The tag team match between The Bloodline and the duo of Kevin Owens and Randy Orton turned into an all-out brawl before the match could even start. Nick Aldis came out and changed this match into a Street Fight, much to the joy of fans.

Aldis praised the French crowd in his post, revealing how the people present in the arena couldn’t hear him. Many even considered the French crowd to be the greatest crowd for a WWE event and demanded that the country host more international events. Furthermore, Triple H shared a post on social media, astonished by the fact that there was even a warning about the noise level on the recent episode of SmackDown.

Meanwhile, the stipulation quickly elevated the dynamics of the match. It was apparent that the ruthlessness of the wrestlers escalated into chaos. Although it looked like Owens and Orton were in cruise control, The Bloodline had a backup plan ready in the form of Tonga Loa. The faction managed to pick up the victory over R-KO, thanks to his interference

Nick Aldis showered heavy praise on Bron Breakker

Although the 37-year-old official unfortunately had to let go of Bron Breakker on Monday Night Raw, he had only positive things to say about him. Aldis openly admitted in an interview that he wanted to sign the 26-year-old star to SmackDown.

While speaking with Bill Apter on WrestleBinge, the British manager stated that he doesn’t like to compare Breakker to a legend like Bill Goldberg, as the former can be a legend in his own right. Aldis talked about having a good relationship with the former NXT star’s uncle, Scott Steiner, and was pretty confident that he was ready to take the top spot.

I don’t like [calling Bron Breakker the next Goldberg]… He’s the first Bron Breakker the way I look at it. He’s tremendous. And I have a tremendous amount of time for him. I obviously have a great relationship with his uncle and I love that kid.

Aldis stated that the company has put a tremendous amount of trust in him, but he still has to make his way through the roster. The 37-year-old manager predicted that he definitely sees a huge match between Breakker and Roman Reigns further down the road.
