SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis has become a fan favorite with his bold personality and fearless attitude. He is often active on social media, informing the fans about weekly SmackDown shows. However, recently his account was hacked. Aldis addressed the same with a post on social media.
‘The Big O’ took to X and informed the fans about the hacking of his account. He advised fans to ignore all the posts from his original account until the whole issue was sorted out. Nick Aldis further added that the WWE team was informed about this and were working on resolving the issue.
His X account posted about a fake cryptocurrency, leading to a flood of posts promoting WWE coins. However, Aldis wasn’t the only one targeted by hackers looking to sell fake crypto. A month ago, veteran wrestler Asuka also fell victim to hacking and immediately warned fans not to engage with any posts until she regained control of her account.
MY X ACCOUNT HAS BEEN HACKED/ COMPROMISED. PLEASE IGNORE ANY POSTS ON X FROM @REALNICKALDIS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. WWE HAVE BEEN INFORMED AND ARE WORKING ON IT. THANKS. NICK.

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley also had his account taken by a hacker selling PlayStation in nearly three years ago. More recent incident happened with Akira Tozawa. The Alpha Academy member doesn’t post on the social media that actively; his account was not only compromised but deleted as well. Hackers are becoming a common problem, and not even WWE superstars are safe from them.
Nick Aldis shared a clarification post after he got his X account back
After dealing with a hacking issue, SmackDown GM finally regained access to his X account. He addressed fans concerned about the strange cryptocurrency posts, acknowledging that some may have believed he was genuinely promoting them.

The former TNA World Champion assured fans that the posts weren’t from him. He shared the good news about recovering his account and resuming activity. Aldis admitted he mostly stuck to reposting to avoid issues, but unfortunately, his fears of something going wrong came true.
Believe it or not, no, I wasn’t trying to sell you a sh*tcoin. I’m back on X and will resume my usual activity of mostly reposting (which ironically was to avoid trouble.)

He also shared a GIF of South Park’s PC Principal, urging everyone to move on from the situation. Now, as WrestleMania approaches, he remains focused on managing SmackDown. The WWE Universe widely agrees that he has excelled as General Manager, and they do want to see more of him.
Corey Graves joked about investing money in the said WWE coin which was promoted on Nick Aldis’ fake account
Even though Aldis suffered a problem due to all this hacking controversy, one person couldn’t help himself from joking about it. It was none other than the WWE commentator and former wrestler, Corey Graves. His reply under the British GM’s post certainly made the WWE Universe chuckle.

Under the 38-year-old GM’s post about reclaiming his account, Graves quickly fired a witty remark, joking that it was a little too late. He shared a GIF of a man demanding his money back, implying he had already fallen for the fake cryptocurrency promoted on Aldis’ X account. With his trademark humor, Graves crafted a playful story about losing his money, only to reveal it was all just friendly banter between two friends.

A few weeks ago, Graves found himself in controversy over his move to NXT commentary. After Raw shifted to Netflix, the former WWE Champion was reassigned to the developmental brand, a move that clearly frustrated him.
He vented his frustration on social media with a fiery post. However, two months ago, he unexpectedly returned to NXT commentary, where Vic Joseph welcomed him back as his broadcast partner. Meanwhile, on Raw, Graves was replaced by Pat McAfee alongside Michael Cole.
