Nick Bosa's first reaction after Donald Trump's victory made it clear that he doesn't regret endorsing him as the next US President.

Nick Bosa found himself on the opposite end of a media trial following his endorsement of Donald Trump. After Trump was declared the ‘President-Elect’ of the United States on Wednesday, reporters wanted to get a reaction from the 49ers pass rusher.

The 49ers will travel to Florida to play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where, unlike California, Trump recorded a swooping victory. Following the 49ers’ latest training session, reporters flocked around Bosa inside the locker room to catch his unadulterated reaction.

The reporters asked Bosa if the NFL committee contacted him about any fine for supporting Trump.

I don’t know… I haven’t gotten one yet. If it comes, it comes… [But] it was well worth it.

The 49ers returned to winning ways by beating the Cowboys 30-24 at home during the final week of October. However, to some, the moment of celebration transformed into a situation of controversy after Bosa video-bombed quarterback Brock Purdy’s interview, wearing a MAGA hat, announcing his allegiance to Trump’s cause.

A couple of days later, the 72-year-old defeated Democrat candidate Kamala Harris by a 295-226 margin (the candidates required more than 270 votes to win). The reporters further questioned Bosa about why he publicly voiced his support for Trump.

I don’t think my position on speaking about it is going to change. Clearly the nation spoke, and we got what we got.

Bosa added.

Nick Bosa’s focus is on playing the Buccaneers

The Bay Area fans finally had something to cheer for after the win over the Cowboys, but an even tougher opponent still awaits them in the shape of Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers. The Bucs pushed the reigning Super Bowl winners, the Kansas City Chiefs, to the limit on Monday and will look to bounce back from the defeat.

Ohio State graduate Nick Bosa is looking forward to playing against former college rival, the Sooners’ Mayfield.

There’s no animosity there at all. He’s [Baker Mayfield] a great competitor and [has] continued to get better every single year, which is awesome. You’ve got to like an underdog story. To be a No. 1 pick, he had to change teams, and he’s proved everybody wrong, so it’s going to be a challenge.

Bosa said.

With Offensive Player of the Year (2023) running back Christian McCaffrey all set to make his debut for the season, the 49ers are the favorites to secure their fifth win of the year. As per USA Today Sports, the 49ers are -5.5 points favorites to win against the Buccaneers.
