- Nick Kyrgios has shared cryptic images with a mysterious woman following his breakup with Costeen Hatzi.
- Speculation suggests the woman may be Alexia Alessi, a marketing executive, but her identity remains unconfirmed.
- Kyrgios continues to struggle with his professional tennis career, currently ranked World No. 835 after multiple injuries.
Nick Kyrgios appears to have moved on with his dating life following his recent split with long-time girlfriend Costeen Hatzi. The Australian star posted a photo of himself holding a lady’s hand on Instagram, which is a sign that he had found love a year after ending his relationship with model Hatzi.
Kyrgios dated Hatzi, his former partner, from December 2021 until March 2025, though they did not confirm the end of their relationship until a few months later. Since then, the Australian tennis pro has kept his private life a secret until Friday (March 27) when he posted a photo on Instagram walking hand-in-hand with a petite brunette woman, with their back turned to the camera.
A week ago, he posted a photo of himself and the unknown lady together, making sure the face of the mystery woman could not be seen in the picture. However, there are reports that the mystery woman could be Alexia Alessi, a marketing and branding executive.
The reason behind the speculation is that she was initially seen with the former Wimbledon finalist earlier this year. Also, the pair attended a basketball game together a couple of weeks ago in Melbourne, Australia. Nonetheless, neither of them follows each other on Instagram as of now, and Kyrgios has never tagged her in any of his photos.
So, the mystery woman he has been posing with for the past few days could be a completely different person and might take a long time before fully revealing her identity.
The former World No.13 played the Brisbane International and the Australian Open last year, but after the Miami Open, he didn’t feature in a singles match on tour. He withdrew from several tournaments last season due to his struggle with his wrist injury, the same wrist he had previously operated on.
Before the 2026 season kicked off, Kyrgios had taken part in several exhibition tournaments, including the Battle of the Sexes clash in December against Aryna Sabalenka in Dubai, which he won in straight sets. However, he was expected to continue with the momentum on tour this season, but he failed to do so.
Nick Kyrgios explains why he has not retired from the sport despite not consistently competing
Nick Kyrgios resumed his comeback to the tour this season at the Brisbane International, where he lost in the first round. He then opted to skip the singles event at the Australian Open, stating that his body wasn’t ready to handle the strain of a potential five-set contest. However, he did compete in the men’s and mixed doubles, losing in the first round of the former and second round of the latter.

Despite not competing in any tour-level tournament since then, Kyrgios features in the MGM Slam exhibition tournament ahead of the Indian Wells Open. In the latest episode of Good Trouble with Nick Kyrgios podcast, Kyrgios noted that even though he has not consistently competed on tour, he has not retired from the sport:
Now I only play for the fans. I still have many followers. Now, I simply enjoy stepping onto the court for the fans and putting on an incredible show, seeing the kids out there… That’s basically the reason why I keep playing now. I have had four surgeries, three of them in the last two years. So I feel that my body is no longer as strong as before.
Kyrgios has been heavily criticized for not taking professional tennis as seriously as he should. Even his Tennis friend, Novak Djokovic, has expressed that if he had taken the sport seriously, he would have been one of the top players on tour, as he has the talent to do so. However, he’s currently ranked World No. 835.
