Nick Kyrgios is not someone to hold back when someone takes a dig at him. The same happened when a social media user tried to school the Australian tennis ace, suggesting he stick to tennis. Kyrgios then hit back, calling the person a ‘dumb a**.’
The 2022 Wimbledon finalist shared a story on Instagram where he hit back at the social media user who took a jibe at him for playing Fortnite. The user shared a screenshot showing a player with the username ‘NickKyrgiosaurus’ and tagged the tennis player while advising him to stick to tennis.
Kyrgios responded to this post, clarifying that it was not him but someone else using his name. But as it is with the Australian, he responded in his typical way, calling out the critique. He also criticized the person using his name.
For those of you thinking I sit there and play Fortnite, you are dumb as**es but I’m glad it keeps you happy. People usually like to use my name in the username of video games, glad you got your clout.

Notably, Kyrgios has had a video game addiction. After the Australian made it to the Wimbledon final, his mother Norlaila Kyrgios revealed that Nick was happy to sit in his room and play video games all the time and he played them so much that his shoulder would hurt.
Nick Kyrgios set to return to tennis soon
After missing out on tennis action for almost two years, Nick Kyrgios is set to make a comeback next season. The 29-year-old recently announced that he will be making a comeback to the sport through the Australian Open.

Kyrgios missed two seasons while struggling with knee and wrist injuries. He last played a single tour-level match at the Stuttgart Open and lost to Yibing Wu. However, he is ready to make a comeback and stated that his only motivation is to win a Grand Slam title.
I will be playing the Australian Open this summer. I just miss being out there playing in front of a home crowd. We’ve got such a crowd of guys at the moment like Alex de Minaur playing amazing tennis…Whether it is good or bad, it will certainly be a lot of fun, for sure. I am looking forward to it …My only motivation to come back and play is to try and win a grand slam, and I’ll give it one more shot.
Nick Kyrgios said (H/T: ATP Tour)
Kyrgios, who has won seven tour-level titles, has managed only one Grand Slam final in his career. He lost to Novak Djokovic in the title clash at the 2022 Wimbledon Championships.
