The world was in sheer disbelief when ‘The bad boy of tennis,’ Nick Kyrgios came swarming in the Wimbledon finals against Novak Djokovic. Frances Tiafoe, an American tennis professional, who shares a lopsided theory, earlier today at the US Open press conference, delegated his side of credence as to how the finals could have gone.

While talking to the media the Flushing championship, the 24-year-old quoted “I say it straight out I think Kyrgios should’ve won Wimbledon. I think he was the better player in that final. Novak mentally, he got exposed. That’s where the experience kicked in for Novak. I think tennis-wise Nick played a better match,”

“Level is not drastic, like Novak,” Frances Tiafoe claims Novak Djokovic is not in his prime anymore

Frances Tiafoe highlighted the Australian’s defeat due to lack of experience in comparison with the 21-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic stating “the experience kicked in for Novak. I think tennis-wise Nick played a better match.” he further went on to illustrate the level on which most of the players used to play isn’t the case anymore as he quoted “It’s not like you got to beat Murray in his prime, DelPo or Federer. It’s not the case anymore. I mean guys are good but the level is not as drastic.”
