Nico Hulkenberg to stand-in again for Racing Point for consecutive weekend

Racing point have confirmed that Nico Hulkenberg will continue to stand-in for Sergio Perez at Silverstone for Racing Point for the week end.

Sergio Perez had completed his 7 day isolation period at an apartment under the Public Health England guidelines. 2 hours before FP1 , it has been confirmed that Sergio Perez retest has been tested positive.

Racing Point has confirmed the news and said that Perez had tested positive again. As a result “he will and he will continue to follow the guidance of Public Health England”.

The team added that “he is physically well and recovering”.I t means Hulkenberg, who made a comeback for the team last weekend , after eight months out of the cockpit.

But failed to take the start because of an engine issue, will drive for the team this weekend alongside Lance Stroll.
