WWE legend Nikki Bella’s husband Artem Chigvintsev arrested for domestic battery

Nikki Bella and Dancing With The Stars pro Artem Chigvintsev recently celebrated their two-year wedding anniversary in August. However, this celebratory occasion has been tainted for the couple after some disturbing news recently came to light.

According to a report by TMZ, several deputies from the Napa County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic violence call on Thursday morning. An arrest was made at the scene with several injuries involved, and the victim requested full confidentiality. It was later revealed that the culprit in question was Artem Chigvintsev, who is currently in jail in Napa, California. 

The Russian dancer has been arrested for domestic battery, and the investigation is still ongoing. He was booked into the Napa County Jail on Thursday morning on a felony domestic violence charge. According to an Instagram story by Nikki Bella, she was in Napa during the same time. Fans were immediately worried about the 40-year-old and the potential treatment she had received from her husband.

Chigvintsev and Bella met on Dancing With The Stars in 2019. They dated for nearly three years before getting married. The couple also has a child together, named Matteo, who was born in July 2020. The couple has since gotten into several heated arguments and even questioned their future together.

Bryan Danielson met Brie Bella in early 2010 during their time together in 2010. The duo were involved in a romantic storyline on screen, which soon turned into a real-life story. The couple got married in 2014, making The American Dragon Nikki Bella’s brother-in-law.

Thus, it is no secret that the AEW World Champion was familiar with Bella’s husband, Chigvintsev. The two have been spotted together on multiple occasions and likely meet at several family functions. However, this incident has seemingly caused a rift between the two. Danielson recently unfollowed the Russian dancer on Instagram shortly after his arrest.

Bryan Danielson has been doing well for himself in recent times. He won the AEW World Championship in the main event of the promotion’s biggest event of the year, All In. On the latest episode of Dynamite, he announced that he would end his full-time career immediately after losing the world title.
