The most important matchup in the 1st round of the playoffs is going to be between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Denver Nuggets. Many companies would want their products on display due to the massive eyeballs this matchup will receive. However, Universal Pictures took it one step further by getting Nikola Jokic to dress up as Gru and be a part of the Despicable Me 4 trailer.

Universal Pictures ran a short trailer of their upcoming movie Despicable Me 4 earlier. Surprisingly, it was Nikola Jokic making a special appearance. He plays a person hounded by minions, as they feel he looks like their boss, Gru. The 2-time league MVP arrived in the tunnels of Ball Arena dressed up like Gru from the Despicable Me movie series.

Never before has a character of a movie series been depicted by an NBA player this well. Even though he is in between a demanding season, he did take the time out to film this trailer. This just added to the point that Jokic is one of the most fun-loving players in the NBA world.

The trailer will be something his daughter Ognjena will cherish for years to come. Being able to portray one of the most iconic characters in animated films is a dream only a few can hope to achieve.
